Bahrain Villa

Al Jasra is one of the most exclusive areas in Bahrain and it was within one of its sought after gated communities, that this project was located.  The client was from one of the most influential and well know families on the island and he sought out our studio to help him refurbish and develop his villa with a classically European flavour.  He invited the Creative Director to fly over and come and have a look at the house and discuss the project in detail.  The house was around three thousand square feet and required a full refurbishment which included not only the interior but also the garden.  The client was very keen to use all the well-known brands including Minnotti, B&B Italia, Poltrona Frau, Holly Hunt to name but a few.

The first stage was to rationalise the layout and create a larger and more sophisticated master suite.  The house also needed two new bathrooms, a designer kitchen and a gym.  Once the plans had been agreed and the full package of information was ready, the project was tendered to two contractors.  Whilst the scheme was not complicated, the emphasis was on quality and detail, two elements that were lacking (according to the client) in the construction industry on the island and it was the responsibility of the interior design team to ensure this was ensured.
